This policy explains what happens to information when you use Benalo: Goal Reels (the “app”). The app has no account system and no server of our own. Please read it before using the app.
Your savings goals, the amounts you put away, the cover photos you choose, the titles you pin, and the private notes you write are stored locally in a database inside the app’s own sandbox on your device. That content is never uploaded to us, never shared with other users, and nobody else can read it. Deleting the app removes it permanently, so use your device backup if you want to keep it.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and there is nothing to sign in to.
If you choose a cover photo for a goal, iOS asks for permission first and the picked image is copied into the app’s storage on your device. The app reads nothing else from your library, and the photo is not uploaded anywhere.
The app calls the following services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
Where these services are active they may process device and usage identifiers under their own policies. They never receive your goals, saved amounts, pinned titles, or notes.
When the app crashes or hits an error, diagnostic information may be collected — device model, operating system version, app version, the time of the event, and a technical stack trace. This is used only to diagnose and fix faults. It does not include your goals, saved amounts, cover photos, pinned titles, or notes.
The app itself does not use cookies. The embedded YouTube player and any advertising or analytics components listed above may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device under their own policies; you can manage these in your device and Google account settings.
Your content is held in the app’s private sandbox and protected by the device’s own file protection and passcode. Network requests to the services above are made over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from them. The services listed above are subject to their own age policies. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of those services, contact us and we will help you raise it with the service concerned.
The app and this site may link to services we do not operate, including TMDB and YouTube. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and take effect when posted.

No account is required to use the app, and there is nothing for you to delete on our side — removing a goal in the app, or deleting the app, removes that content from your device.
